Module 11 includes a cluster of spelling choices for the long vowel sounds heard in ‘a’, ‘e’, ‘i’, ‘o’ and ‘u’. Star Skill 51 starts with the spelling choice ‘-ee’ both in the middle and at the end of words and also provides high frequency irregular words to learn such as ‘he’, ‘she’ and ‘be’. The magic ‘e’ words then follow with ‘i-e’, ‘a-e’, ‘o-e’ and ‘u-e’ along with all the variations that a vowel modified by ‘r’ can bring.
